I'm Back!!

Hi there! It's been quite a while since I lasted posted a blog post but I have been super busy with studying for the HSC but I have finished my exams and have graduated from high school so I have way more time on my hands now! I am definitely going to be writing more blog posts more often, as well as posting on my Instagram (rosy_sparkle). I really want to concentrate on being more involved in the Beauty and Fashion community and I'm excited for all the ideas and things I have planned! The big news, is that I have finally made my own YouTube channel! I have been wanting to make a YouTube channel for a long time now and I am super excited to get into it! I would love it if you checked out my channel (youtube.com/user/rosysparkle1) and subscribe to it. It would mean the world to me! :) I hope you enjoy the upcoming posts I have planned!

Elf Cosmetics in Kmart Australia!!

Exciting news! Elf has finally his Australian stores! I was extremely stoked to see that Elf Cosmetics are stocked in Kmart stores across Australia. I have been dying to try out their products as I haven't had the chance to buy anything online. I only bought 5 products as I wanted to pace myself and not go to crazy on the spending. The great thing is that they are amazing prices and super affordable! I bought all 5 items for a total of $25! 

Eyelid Primer in 'Sheer' - $3

I've seen this one around the online beauty world and I've really been wanting to try this out. If this works for me, I will be so so happy because the price is only $3! This is the cheapest eyelid primer I have ever seen! Fingers crossed that it works!

Luscious Liquid Lipstick in 'Cherry Tart' - $3

These look like dupes for the Stila Lip Glaze and I currently don't own any types of products similar to this so I thought I'd try this out! It's $3 anyway! Why not!

Liquid Eyeliner in 'Midnight' - $3

Their eyeliner was only $3 this is absolutely awesome so I bought it in the colour 'Midnight' which is a dark blue shade. Let's see how this goes!

Eyebrow Kit in 'Medium' - $8

I definitely wanted to expand my brow products collection so I grabbed this right away. I only own eyebrow pencils so this eyebrow set that includes a gel and powder seemed perfect for me to try out! 

Blush in 'Mellow Mauve' - $8

I can't resist buying a blush so I chose this gorgeous dusty rose colour that looks it would be great for a natural flush on the cheeks.

If you live in Australia and haven't gone to Kmart to check out Elf Cosmetics, do it now!! Because I nearly fainted at the sight of Elf finally in stores!

Outfit of the Day! 15/6/14

Went casual today on a chilly day in Sydney! Definitely a default outfit for when I want to quickly put something on whilst looking fashionable! You can't go wrong with a simple jumper and jeans!

Grey Spotted Jumper - Forever 21
Bought this jumper when I was overseas as there isn't a Forever 21 in Australia :( But I love love loveeee this jumper! When I saw it in the shop, I instantly knew that I was in love! It's soft, warm, and looks cute with any jeans!

Black Jeans - Target
I know right, Target?? I've had this for agesss and I'm in need of a new pair of black jeans, so I'm on the hunt! Nevertheless, these jeans have been good to me. They were at a cheap price and they don't really look like they're from Target!

Black Boots - Target
Target strikes again! These type of boots are definitely in fashion right now as I have been seeing them in shops everywhere! My mum found the exact type in Target and bought a pair for me and gosh, these are awesome! They honestly don't seem like Target shoes, but then again, they weren't at an extremely cheap price like Target normally does with their $5 shoes! These boots are super comfy and these are definitely something I can wear with many types of outfits!

Hashtag Beanie - Cotton On
To spice up the outfit a bit, I added this beanie, which I am currently in love with! I've been looking for a simple black beanie with some writing on the front, and I found it! It's super cute and looks really great with the outfit!

Vivid!

If you live in Sydney, Australia, or you ever come to visit, I strongly recommend going to 'Vivid', the Festival of Light, Music & Ideas. I went the other week for the first time with a friend, and it was magical! I loved strolling through the crowds in Circular Quay, looking in awe at all of the beautiful light shows. A show of colourful lights and patterns shining onto the buildings were spectacular. I literally stare at all of all the beautiful designs and wonder how much time and effort was spent on this because it was incredible. There was a pretty big crowd so I recommend going with very few people. It's great if you want a calm, easy night. This festival is so different to music festivals or comedy festivals. It's all about lights, colours and art. I could stare at the lights shining on the buildings for a long time! The atmosphere is excellent because it's night time and the place is lit up by these colourful lights. I found it soothing to walk around, just casually and looking at all the different sets. It's also a great photo opportunity! The pictures turn out incredible! I know that next year, I will definitely be going again!

My name is Nicole, I'm 18 years old, from Australia, and welcome to 'Rosy Sparkle'! In three words, I would describe myself as bubbly, kind and affectionate.
